Bohemia
Here is the drummer. He sits on the curb in the rain, quietly doing his job until the darkness forces him to recede. (And then, sometimes, often, the seamstress emerges, and she sews quietly in her room).
Here is the professor. He walks down the stairs and looks out the window at the drummer, walks down and looks in on the seamstress. He plants the unwanted sees of knowledge and leaves them be, watching them grow.
Here is the singer. She paces, bounces, shakes, never still for any moment. Her voice rebounds, around the drummer, around the seamstress, around the professor and so many more. She sings to free, sings to cheer, and sing
If you give Mimi some bubbles wrap,
she'll want to do her famous lawn chair-handcuff dance to the sounds of iced tea being stirred.
If she starts to dance she'll most probably grab the attention of some pervy old men,
and then Roger will get jealous and leave Mimi.
And most probably Mimi will fall into a slump of depression and run away again,
then everybody will start looking for Mimi.
After a while of course they'll find her but she's dying from living on the streets for so long,
so instead of calling an ambulance you'll ask Roger to say sorry and sing her a song.
Once Mimi hears the song it'll remind her of dancing,
and most proba
